The medical term for excessive sweating is Hyperhidrosis. It affects the palms, underarms, feet and even come in the form of night sweats. There are many ways in treating this disease, both in the natural and the surgical methods.
Temporary Cure:
The temporary cure mainly starts with the usage of antiperspirants. The combination of deodorant and antiperspirants keep the sweat away for a short period of time. The other options include anhydrous ethanol and aluminium chloride.
Lifestyle Changes:
Small adjustments in our life can stop excessive sweating. The stress level has to be lowered and this can be done by deep breathing. Controlling our reactions can decrease our level of nervousness, agitation, anxiety and worry and thus keeps the stress at bay. Increase in stress can speed-up the heart rate causing the sweat glands to work at high speeds. Hence, over-reactions should be prevented and our emotions must be controlled by relaxation methods. Underarm sweating can be prevented by wearing loose clothes so that the skin gets to breathe even better. Also the body must be kept hydrated, especially in an overly warm weather.
These techniques must be exercised regularly to obtain a sweat-free situation.
